Quick Answers About Your Menu Printing

We know your time is valuable. Here are the answers to your most immediate questions.

What is the best material for a durable restaurant menu?

For dine-in menus, we highly recommend PU leather cover for protective & longevity. It makes your menus sturdy, spill-resistant, and easy to wipe clean.

Can you print menus that fold?

Yes, we do print folded menu. The most popular styles are bi-fold (folded in half) and tri fold menu printing (folded in thirds), which are perfect for organizing your offerings.

What is the minimum order for menu card printing?

We can print small batches, often starting from as few as 25 menus. This is ideal for testing a new design, running a promotion, or updating your menu seasonally.

Do you also print disposable or takeaway menus?

Absolutely. We offer fast and affordable takeaway menu printing on lighter paper stocks, perfect for delivery orders, mail drops, or single-use menus.

An Insight From Our Expert

For menus, I usually guide clients based on usage. If you want durability and easy insert changes, go for a PU cover, it lasts longer and looks premium. For short-term, cost-effective use, 80gsm wood-free paper with saddle stitch works well. And for single-page menus, mounting on A3 board with matte lamination is ideal. If you plan to reuse it, always laminate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Get clear answers to the most common questions about our products and services.

What is the most durable and easy-to-clean option for a restaurant menu?

The most durable option is PU leather or laminated menu printing. We print on a thick card stock and then seal it with a matte or gloss lamination. This protects it from spills and allows it to be wiped clean hundreds of time without damage.

What's the difference between a tri-fold and a Z-fold menu?

Both are folded into three panels. For tri fold menu printing, the right panel folds inward first, then the left panel folds over it. For a Z-fold, the panels fold back and forth like an accordion, forming a “Z” shape.

Can you help me with the design of my menu?

Yes. We have in-house designers who are experienced in custom menu printing layouts. They can work with your text, photos, and branding to create a professional and effective menu design.

What is the best and most durable paper for restaurant menus?

For dine-in menus that need to be durable and easy to clean, the best option is a thick cardstock (350gsm or higher) protected with lamination. This process makes the menu highly water-resistant and spill-proof. For single-use or takeaway menus, a lighter, coated paper (around 150gsm) is a cost-effective choice.

What size is a menu print?

Menus come in many sizes, but popular choices include standard A4 (for a classic, single-page or bi-fold menu) and A3 (which often folds down to A4). We also frequently print custom sizes and long, narrow formats for drink lists. We can create nearly any dimension to fit your specific design.

What is the difference between a printed menu and a digital menu?

A digital menu is accessed on a phone, usually via a QR code, which is convenient for quick updates. A professionally printed menu, however, offers a premium, tactile experience that reflects your brand’s quality and enhances the dining atmosphere. Many establishments in the UAE now use both to offer the best of both worlds.
