Objective:
Develop a durable, branded e-commerce box for online beauty-product orders
Brief
The client, a fast-growing beauty brand, required a bulk production run of e-commerce shipping boxes to support their expanding online business. The design was intentionally minimal, featuring a predominantly black box with a clean white logo on the front. The first run required 10,000 units, with repeat orders expected as sales increased. The focus was on consistency, durability, and premium visual appeal.
Challenges
Maintaining color uniformity, especially a consistent deep black tone, across a large print run
Historic flooding in the UAE caused water-logging in the facility, making printed sheets and raw materials soggy and slow to dry
The unexpected water damage put the project timeline at serious risk
Solution
To recover the materials and maintain quality, all printed sheets were run through UV drying machines and industrial dryers to restore them to the correct condition. This allowed production to resume swiftly without compromising print quality, color consistency, or box structure.
Outcome
Despite severe weather conditions and timeline pressures, high-quality black-and-white e-commerce boxes were delivered on time. The client was extremely satisfied with the product and the reliability demonstrated under challenging circumstances, resulting in ongoing repeat orders.
