Create a premium, secure gift box for X Aviation’s loyal customers, to be shipped internationally.
Brief
X Aviation, a private charter airline, planned to send an annual appreciation gift to its loyal customers across international markets, including Saudi Arabia. CADO, a longstanding client, partnered with us to develop a premium, secure gift box that aligned with X Aviation’s brand guidelines while ensuring safe international shipping. The packaging needed to protect fragile contents while delivering a refined, high-end unboxing experience that reflected the prestige of the brand. The gift set included a scented candle and a handmade ceramic plate supplied by the client.
Challenges
Variations in the size and shape of the handmade ceramic plates, making a single fixed cavity difficult to design
Ensuring sufficient protection for fragile items, particularly ceramic, during international shipping
Aligning the overall look and feel of the packaging with X Aviation’s premium brand identity
Solution
An adaptive cavity design approach was implemented by measuring all ceramic plates and identifying an optimal average diameter. Digital die-cutting was used to create cavities capable of accommodating size variations while maintaining a secure fit, eliminating the need for multiple dies and reducing both cost and production time. A robust rigid box structure was developed to provide maximum protection and stability for the candle and ceramic plate throughout long-distance transport. All materials, colors, and finishing details were carefully selected to comply with X Aviation’s brand guidelines, resulting in an elegant and cohesive gifting experience.
Outcome
A total of 300 premium gift boxes were successfully produced, assembled, and delivered within the agreed timeline. The final packaging solution met both aesthetic and logistical requirements, ensuring product safety during transit while delivering a polished, brand-aligned gifting experience. The client expressed strong satisfaction with the quality, craftsmanship, and seamless execution of the project.
