Objective:
Inauguration of the new head office at Central Park Towers, DIFC
Brief
The client, a prestigious law firm, was relocating its head office to Central Park Towers, DIFC, and was completing the fit-out of two floors at an exceptionally fast pace. We were assigned the task of executing all office branding.
This included elevator posters, elevator door branding, foam board posters of various sizes installed in common areas, acrylic signage, internal office number plates, and nursery wall graphics. All deliverables had to be completed with equal speed and precision, as the client is known for having an impeccable eye for detail.
Challenges
⦁ Time constraints: Multiple fit-out activities were happening simultaneously, while approximately 100 + cubicles required number stickers to be installed according to a complex layout. The numbering was not in a simple linear sequence; one error could have disrupted the entire system.
⦁ Elevator door alignment: Continuous patterns on the elevator doors were getting misaligned due to the sliding mechanism.
⦁ Urgent acrylic logo: A cut-out acrylic logo was required overnight for the inauguration the next morning.
Solution
We assigned a dedicated team solely to handle the cubicle numbering installation. While the task appeared simple, it required extreme patience and accuracy to follow the precise numbering plan and avoid costly mistakes.
For the elevator doors, we identified that the panels slid over one another, causing a slight but noticeable misalignment. Although the difference was minimal, we knew it would not meet the client’s standards. The artwork was adjusted and tested with paper mock-ups before final printing on vinyl.
To meet the urgent requirement for the acrylic logo, our team worked through the night. The company logo was ready and installed by 4:00 AM, just in time for the inauguration.
Outcome
The result was a seamless, fully branded office ready on the day of inauguration. The client appreciated our dedication, speed, and attention to detail.
