Attractive and eye catching portfolio Impressing the best in their league can be a difficult task. We had a similar experience while creating a portfolio & it’s packaging for BASH who is one of the best interior designers in the industry.
Although printing & packaging bids, proposals, pitch books & portfolios have been our forte. Sometimes one does fall into a trap of repetition of ideas, colours schemes etc.
When BASH approached us to print & package his portfolio for a business pitch. We suggested a video brochure box with a printed copy of his portfolio.The idea was immediately approved. But knowing the client’s client is a very important aspect in production of any bid or pitch document. Ultimately they are the ones to be impressed.
BASH’s client happened to be an advertising company. And the Central Idea was to highlight BASH’s futuristic design and expertise in creating quintessential tech savvy, digital age working space.
Therefore, nothing usual or subtle if used would communicate a strong visual impact. The suggestion of papers came from the client. And we agreed but with a bit of reluctance in the beginning but were completely awed by the outcome. That’s what good designers are all about.
Coming back to paper. The 2 contrasting fluorescent papers used were lime green + electricblue to create a dynamic look.. Vivid fluorescent colours straightaway did the job of grabbing attention & radiating light. To add interactivity to the otherwise minimalist paper box was a high-tech video that played as soon as the box opened. All in all in its entirety the box did look like a gadget for the lack of better word.

Project: Custom SPA Folder in Luxury Packaging
Objective: Create a premium unboxing experience for the buyer of the most expensive penthouse transaction in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).
Brief:
Our client, a prominent property developer, approached us with a unique challenge. They needed a Sales & Purchase Agreement (SPA) folder designed not just for functionality, but as a symbol of luxury. The SPA folder was to be presented to a penthouse buyer, marking one of the most significant real estate deals in RAK to date. The brief required us to design a luxury box to house the SPA folder, include a personalized diary with the buyer’s name in gold foiling, and add a premium fountain pen as part of the gift set. This was to be more than packaging — it had to reflect the exclusivity and prestige of the transaction.
Challenges:
- Determining the optimal layout for the folder, diary, and pen
- Designing a box opening mechanism that felt premium and intuitive
- Selecting materials that balanced durability, tactile luxury, and visual appeal
Solution:
We began with a prototype using rigid board to test product placement and structural feasibility. Several iterations followed, each reviewed with meticulous attention to detail to ensure a perfect blend of form and function. After evaluating multiple options, we finalized a wooden box with a premium PU leather finish. Materials were carefully selected to match the brand colors of the development, create a tactile and luxurious feel, and offer durability and elegance. Additional touches included gold foil branding on the exterior, color-matched hinges and internal lining, and custom foam inserts to securely house each item.
Outcome
Within four weeks, we delivered the final version of the luxury box, a stunning presentation piece that elevated the overall buyer experience. The box included an elegant PU-wrapped wooden box with gold-foil branding, SPA folder with matching finish, personalized diary with gold foil name embossing, and a premium fountain pen placed in a custom slot. This project demonstrated how thoughtful design and premium packaging can enhance the customer journey, especially in high-value transactions. The final product wasn’t just a delivery mechanism — it was a celebration of the buyer’s milestone.
