Objective:
To produce a complete set of branded business stationery on a consistent uncoated substrate, ensuring print quality, durability, and scalability across all materials.
Brief
The project involved creating a full suite of business stationery including business cards, letterheads, multiple envelope sizes (C3, C4, C5), and various notebooks. The key requirement was to use a special uncoated paper stock available in different GSMs, allowing consistency across all items while maintaining usability and a refined brand feel.
Challenges
- Maintaining logo consistency across multiple formats and paper weights
- Reproducing a complex gradient with thin line patterns accurately
- Achieving precise registration for embossing combined with foil stamping
- Ensuring uniform output across varied stationery items
Solution
We conducted extensive test runs with color proofing across five different paper stocks and GSM options to identify the most suitable substrate for consistent results. A full prototype set was produced incorporating all finishing techniques, including embossing, spot UV, and die-cutting. For envelopes, we explored custom die options beyond conventional formats, developing a unique fold that enhanced both functionality and visual appeal.
Outcome
The result was a cohesive, high-quality stationery system with clearly defined specifications, enabling seamless repeat production while maintaining brand consistency and premium finish standards.
