Brief
Alfa Chem participates annually in major coating and casting exhibitions in the Middle East. For these events, the client required complete stand branding that included all essential graphic materials as well as branding for five partner companies represented in the region.
A key requirement was that the branding should be removable, reusable, and suitable for use across multiple exhibitions. The solution also needed to be easy to transport and simple enough to be installed and reinstalled without reliance on professional installers.
Challenges
Designing a branding solution that could be reused multiple times without damage
Ensuring easy installation and removal by non-professional staff
Managing logistics and transportation between different exhibition locations
Maintaining durability and visual consistency across multiple shows
Solution
The stand graphics were produced as vinyl panels to allow flexibility and ease of handling. Instead of full-surface adhesive application, side taping was used to fix the panels. A strong red tape was selected to ensure the panels remained secure throughout the exhibition while still allowing easy removal without residue or damage.
To support reusability, additional red tape was supplied to the client. The Alfa Chem team was also trained on how to install, remove, and reuse the panels efficiently. Double-sided tape was incorporated where required to further simplify the installation process.
This approach allowed the graphics to be dismantled, transported, and reinstalled with minimal effort.
Outcome
The solution met all functional and logistical requirements. The exhibition branding was successfully reused across both the Dubai and Riyadh Coating exhibitions. The client was satisfied with the ease of installation, durability, and reusability of the graphic panels, achieving consistent branding across multiple events without the need for professional installers.
